Cook Time: 10 Minutes

50g butter, softened

2 tsp puréed garlic

2 tsp chopped dried cranberries

1/2 tsp chopped or dried sage

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 baguette

100g sliced leftover turkey*

1 Camembert cheese

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°c / 180°c fan / gas mark 6.
  2. In a bowl mix together the soft butter, garlic, sage and chopped cranberries.
  3. Cut slices into the baguette without going fully through, and then evenly stuff the cuts with the garlic butter mix and half of the leftover turkey.
  4. Bake the garlic bread in the oven for 10 minutes. Put the camembert in the oven at the same time to bake for 10 minutes.
  5. While they’re baking, dice the rest of the leftover turkey and gently fry in a pan with a knob of butter.
  6. To finish, garnish the camembert with the fried turkey and serve with the baked garlic bread.

Try adding slices of camembert or brie into the cuts in the baguette and drizzle with a spoonful of cranberry sauce.

*Leftovers should be cooled and then stored in a refrigerator as soon as possible.
