Duval-Leroy Supplier Story
Set in the tip of the Côte des Blancs region, famed for its fine Chardonnays, Duval-Leroy is the only major house on this terroir. Responsible for 200 hectares of sustainably-farmed vines, its a family business and a French institution, dedicating itself to the noble craft of champagne-making since 1859.
Today the sixth generation of the Duval-Leroy family are in charge of carrying the spirit of tradition in the making of Champagne.
Head of the family and ‘lady of Champagne’, Carol Duval-Leroy, along with her three sons Julien, Charles and Louis, strive for the highest standards and innovation in every aspect of the business - from quality, consistency and certification through to partnerships with sommeliers and chefs.
As Champagne pioneers, they are inspired by passion to produce Champagnes that are the essence of finesse, lightness and elegance.
Part of the company’s strategy is to create an awareness of sustainable Champagne making, and they were one of the first houses to obtain the HVE (High Environmental Value) certification. This shows commitment to producing Champagnes that not only respect the terroir, but exalt it.
Today, the house works with more than 500 Chiefs in the gastronomic world and is the partner of the “Relais & Châteaux” Association which is the excellence of the Table and the Gastronomy.
