Perfect pâté from Yorkshire Smokehouse

Set amidst the beautiful Blubberhouses Moor is the Yorkshire Smokehouse & Farm Shop, a family run business which has produced some of the best quality cured produce for over 25 years.

In 2019, the Yorkshire Smokehouse & Farm Shop was taken over by husband and wife Paul and Gabby Palmer. Situated at the foot of the beautiful Nidderdale Valley, the couple knew that this idyllic setting was where they wanted to be. Gabby grew up locally and shared her Swiss father’s love for food. As the then proprietor and chef at The Old Deanery, one of Yorkshire’s finest culinary spots, Jurg Bleiker taught his daughter about the importance of great food.

Talking about the couple’s love for good, honest local food, and the countryside from which it comes, Paul Palmer said “With Gabby’s background, coupled with my long-standing career in the food and drink industry, we knew that the purchase of the Yorkshire Smokehouse & Farm Shop was the perfect opportunity for us.”
