Preparation & Use
Cooking Instructions: Gloucester Old Spot Pork Belly - Pre heat oven to 200°c temperature fan assisted or 215°c without a fan. Bring the Belly Pork out of the fridge and bring to room temperature. Scald the pork rind by pouring over a full kettle onto the skin. Season the pork well with salt and pepper. Place the pork skin side up into a suitable roasting dish.  Place in centre of oven and roast for 20 minutes then reduce the temperature to 180°c then continue roasting for 40 minutes per 500g reaching a core temperature of minimum 75°c. Gloucester Old Spot Leg of Pork Boned and Rolled - Bring the Pork out of the fridge and bring to room temperature. Scald the pork rind by pouring over a full kettle onto the skin. Season the pork well with salt and pepper. Place the pork skin side up into a suitable roasting dish.  Place in centre of oven and roast for 20 minutes then reduce the temperature to 180°c then continue roasting for 40 minutes per 500g reaching a core temperature of minimum 75°c. Gloucester Old Spot Pork Spare Ribs - Pre Heat oven to 140°c (120°c fan). Season the ribs with salt and pepper of a rub of your choice. Cover with foil and roast 2½ to 3 hours until very tender. Remove foil, Brush with BBQ sauce (optional) and return to oven for 20 minutes. Gloucester Old Spot Pork Loin Steaks - Rub the Pork Steaks with a little cooking oil and season with salt and pepper. Heat a frying pan or griddle pan to medium temperature. Cook the Pork Steaks for approximately 7 minutes each side. Ensure the Pork is thoroughly cooked and the juices run clear. Gloucester Old Spot Pork Loin Roasting Joint - Bring the Pork out of the fridge and bring to room temperature. Scald the pork rind by pouring over a full kettle onto the skin. Season the pork well with salt and pepper. Place the pork skin side up into a suitable roasting dish.  Place in centre of oven and roast for 20 minutes then reduce the temperature to 180°c then continue roasting for 40 minutes per 500g reaching a core temperature of minimum 75°c.
