Christmas Chocolate Bark

RECIPE

CHRISTMAS CHOCOLATE BARK

Serves: 10

Prep Time: 40 Minutes

INGREDIENTS

200g Milk Chocolate

200g White Chocolate

1/2 tsp peppermint extract

Cocktail Stick

Decorations:

Selection of pretzels, red sweets, sprinkles, chocolate buttons

METHOD

  1. Line a large baking tray with greaseproof paper.
  2. Gently melt the milk and white chocolate in two separate glass bowls over pans of simmering water.
  3. When the chocolates are both completely melted, pour the peppermint extract into the white chocolate and stir until fully combined.
  4. Pour dollops of each chocolate next to each other on the baking tray.
  5. Next, lightly tap the baking tray on a hard work surface to flatten the chocolate and remove any air bubbles.
  6. Then, use a cocktail stick to swirl the two chocolates together to create a marble effect.
  7. Use a selection of the pretzels, chocolate, sweets and sprinkles you have to create the snowmen shapes on the areas of white chocolate and reindeer figures on the milk chocolate.
  8. Leave in the fridge to set and when fully hardened break into shards and serve.
