1 x 30g Pod Soy Sauce (Water, SOYA Bean, WHEAT, Salt, Alcohol (Ethanol))

1 x 1g Pod 5 Spice Seasoning (Ground Spices (Cinnamon, Fennel, Star Anise, Ginger, Clove), Natural Flavouring

1 x 15g Pod Tamarind Sauce (Tamarind Concentrate, Water)

1 x 140g Pack Basmati Rice

1 x Garlic Clove

1 x 4g Pod SESAME Oil

Preparation & Use
Cooking Instructions:

1.  Rinse the rice with cold water and drain.  Add to a pan with 280ml of water, cover and bring to the boil.  Once boiling, reduce the heat and allow to gently simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the rice is tender and the water has been absorbed.  Set aside with the lid on.

2.  While the rice cooks, dice the chicken into bite size pieces.

3.  Peel and slice the onion and red pepper into thin strips.  Grate or finely chop the garlic.

4.  Add 1tsp of oil into a wok or large frying pan.  Fry the chicken and onions over a high heat for 2-3 minutes or until browned.

5.  Add the garlic and red pepper and fry for a further 3-5 minutes.

6.  Add the soy sauce, tamarind, 5 spice and a pinch of sugar to the pan and mix well.

7.  Add 100ml of water, stir and leave to simmer for 6-8 minutes, adding the sesame oil at the end.  Add more water if required.

8.  Fluff the rice with a fork, place in bowls and top with the stir fry.
