Preparation & Use
Cooking Instructions: Oven: All appliances vary, the following are guidelines only. Remove all packaging. Pre-heat oven to 200⁰C / Fan 180⁰C / Gas Mark 6. Place the glaze sachet to one side. There is no need to soak the gammon. Cover joint with foil leaving a gap between the foil and the top of the gammon. Decorations can be left on for cooking. Place on a baking tray in the middle of the oven for 1 hour 35 minutes. Allow to rest for 10-15 minutes before carving. Whilst the joint is resting, heat sauce sachet in a cup of boiling water. Leave to stand for 5 mins then drizzle over gammon. Remove candied orange slices and bay leaf before serving. Ensure food is piping hot throughout before serving. Booths recommend that all meat products are thoroughly cooked.
