Remove all packaging before cooking. Do not wash poultry before cooking. Ensure you wash your hands after handling raw poultry. Place on a deep roasting tray, season to taste and cover with tin foil. Place in the oven and cook for 50 minutes per kilo.
Oven: 190ºC / Fan: 170ºC / Gas Mark 5.
Time: 50 minutes per kilo.
Remove foil 20 minutes before end of cooking time. Allow to rest at room temperature, loosely covered with foil for 15 minutes before carving. Ensure food is piping hot throughout and juices run clear before serving.
